Xi yang tian shi (So close) (2002)

Heels can hurt you!

Sister's love can be one of the most beautiful and the most difficult to survive. It can be a pleasant dish, full of sweetness, understanding, joy and comfort, mutual fun and care, but it can also be a bitter and painful dish, with overprotective, a man, jealousy for attention, feeling guilty and ... a certain lady inspector who tread both sisters' heels.

SO CLOSE is a cool movie about the fast and unpredictable story, where the leitmotif is the revenge of the sisters for the death of their parents. We have here the connection of the latest technologies with mechanical weapons and women's fists. Incredible special effects are due to Eddy Wong Wang-Hin, Thalia Tau Siu-Ping and Victor Wong Wang. Robust script (Corey Yuen) and pleasant, feminine music with a leitmotif in the performance of Corrine May are further advantages of the film.
Noteworthy are the outfits of our heroines - elegant costumes (Shi Qu in a white suit is simply divine), while Mrs. Inspector's raincoat reminds me detective Columbo :). This is contribution of Jessie Dai and Chung Man Yee.

It is a film about the struggle and cooperation of three women, but it is necessary for this cooperation to rise above the divisions and women emotionality. This amazing trio of Chinese cinematography - Shi Qu, Zhao Wei, Karen Mok - skilfully led by Corey Yuen provides entertainment at a good level and everyone can enjoy watching it,

And at the end of the fights - between Lynn (Shi Qu) and Hong Yat Hong (Karen Mok), choreograped by Corey Yuen, and filming them (cinematographed by Kwok-Man Keung), it's hard not to smile because we find there humortistic shots, as well as the final 15 minutes is a series of fights that you can not take your eyes off.
I say goodbye to you with a heartfelt kiss.
