Jie jiu Wu xian sheng (Saving Mr Wu) (2015)

It means, how one should not eat dumplings!

The story is about the kidnapped film star by four criminals disguised as policemen.
This is the only one cooperation between Dig Sheng and Andy Lau, also the first cooperation on the line Andy Lau and Qianyuan Wang
Fim was nominated at the 3 film festivals and won Chinese Film Media Awards 2016 for Qianyuan Wang as Best Supporting Actor.

The work of all film crew members deserves the highest attention. This is the make-up artist's work, which from a handsome actor makes a repulsive bandit, a costume designer's work (Cao Yangui) that emphasizes the higher social status of Mr. Wu. It is also the work of the music author (Lao Zai), which is dynamic and interestingly engaged, and finally, most importantly, it is the work of the montage (Ding Sheng) and cinematographer (Yu Ding). The single frames focus on seemingly irrelevant details, while their assembly resembles a gun rifle, which together gives an amazing dynamic and unsettling effect, and this is the motive of this film

The scenes in which Mr. Wu tries to establish a personal relationship with the kidnappers, referring to their sense of propriety, also a deeper relationship with the second hostage. This character of a simple boy is very moving and well played by Cai Lu.
It is hard not to laugh when Mr. Wu in the moment of life threat asks to wash the cup before drinking water - it is for me to maintain dignity in difficult and unfavorable conditions.

Ye Liu and Ruofu Wu, who play policemen officers, are very credible and convincing both, in addition, in the case of Xing Feng (Ye Liu) shown an attempt to reconcile family and professional life. Was if succeeded or not?

The film keeps in suspense until the very end and one can predict that the film ends well, but one must watch the movie up to the last scenes.
The scene of the liberation of both hostages captures the throat and squeezes all the emotions outside - because of this scene, it's worth seeing the whole movie.
